 Tim "T-Bone" Arem, M.Ed. America's Health & Fitness Ambassador, launched Nordic Walking Across America (NWAA) in the 2007 school year. NWAA is a national campaign for elementary schools to encourage their students to be active through Nordic Walking. Ten elementary schools were chosen in the first year of this initiative.
