BUFFALO, NY – Professional skier and LEKI sponsored athlete Lindsey Vonn is helping to promote Nordic Walking, or fitness walking with lightweight poles, with a fun yet informative five minute video that details the benefits of Nordic Walking, especially for athletes in the off-season. The video, also featuring former cross country skier and Nordic Walking expert Peter Schlickenrieder, and world champion skiers Benni Raich and Marlies Schild, will make its debut at the Nordic Walking North America (NWNA) booth at the IDEA World Fitness Convention in Los Angeles August 12 – 14. American Nordic Walking Association Instructor, Rick Deutsch, will be on board Crystal Cruise’s Symphony May 9th round-trip voyage from San Francisco to Alaska to teach complimentary classes to guests. Mr. Deutsch will also train the ship’s fitness instructors, who will lead classes on sequent voyages.
