Dominator Riiber wins gold

After 10 World Cup victories this season, Jarl Magnus Riiber now crowns his great year with Gold at the World Championships in Seefeld. The young Norwegian was leading going into the cross-country after a terrific jump. It was a tactically clever race by Riiber, who put a big distance between himself and the rest of the chasing pack in the early period of the race. Although Bernhard Gruber from Austria catched the 22-year-old on the final lap, the veteran had wasted too many grains and therefore no chance on the home straight. The silver medal is still a great result for the 36-year-old.
