To ensure adequate protection, the shin guard and forearm protector must be firmly attached to the extremities. This product is designed to provide protection of the extremities from low force contact that may be caused by the FIS standard approved race gates and slalom poles placed along the race course. In alpine racing, however, not all possible incidents and accidents that could have an impact on the protectors and/or the human body can be ruled out, also due to the high speed of the skier or snowboarder. After purchase, it is recommended not to use the protectors for longer than three years, as the materials can change their mechanical properties over time and impair the protective effect. Before and after each use, the protectors should not be exposed to sunlight or other sources of light and heat. Only water and non-aggressive soap may be used for external cleaning; solvents, petrol, lubricants or other chemical solvents must not come into contact with the protectors, as these can otherwise affect the structure and functionality of the protectors.

This product must not be worked on and/or altered by anybody other than LEKI Lenhart GmbH or one of its sales partners except as part of the approved assembly in accordance with the instruction manual or by an authorised LEKI service partner following the official LEKI assembly instructions. Any other modifications or alterations fail to comply with the approved use and could lead to risks and safety problems. As a consequence, we strongly advise against this.
