The supportive Makalu Lite AS is your comfortable and stable companion on mountain adventures! With its thin tube diameter, the Lite version has a weight of only 258 g. Just like its big brother, the Makalu Lite AS features the new Aergon Air. This latest generation of grip specially adapted for trekking and has been redesigned for comfort and control and improved in countless ways. Hollow core technology combines lightweight construction with large, supportive surfaces. The grip head is fully rubberized for maximum grip and control when going downhill. Optimal guidance of the pole helps the inclined angle and thus contributes to safety on the mountain.

The Dynamic Suspension System is a vibration-absorbing construction made of elastomer material. According to a study by the University of Tübingen, it reduces the impact force by approx. 40%, thereby relieving the musculature, joints, and tendons.
