| General safety instructions: | Rubber bumpers can be mounted on the pole tips and are designed for use with poles on tarmac. On all other surfaces, such as dirt tracks, footpaths, paths with stones, roots or gravel, grass, earth, sand, etc., the grip of the rubber bumpers may be impaired. Caution: Ice, snow, dirt or moisture can impair the grip of the rubber buffers. Make sure that the rubber buffer model or rubber buffer variant is also intended for or compatible with your pole tip. Rubber bumpers must never be used for sports that are practised off-road or on uneven surfaces. These include skiing, mountain hiking, trekking, cross-country skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing, etc. Please note that the pole tips have sharp-edged functional areas and that these can lead to injuries, even when fitting or removing the rubber buffers on the pole tips. The tight fit of the rubber buffers on the pole tips and their grip on the ground can also be impaired by dirt, wear or damage. Therefore, make sure that the functionality is guaranteed before and during use. The use of poles on decorative floor coverings indoors and outdoors can cause damage to surfaces when in contact with cane tips or in contact with combinations of rubber buffers and tip elements, as well as in the case of adhering dirt and foreign bodies. The manufacturer excludes any liability in this respect. Mountaineering, trekking/hiking, cross-country skiing, trail running, Nordic walking, roller skiing/Nordic blading, inline skating, skiing, cross-country skiing, ski touring and snowshoeing can be inherently risky sports, disciplines and forms of exercise. Please be aware of the risks of your chosen sport. You are responsible for your actions and decisions. Before using this product, please read all the instructions and warnings attached, and familiarise yourself with the appropriate applications and limitations for the relevant sporting activity. If you are in any doubt about how to use this product we recommend you seek additional assistance before use. Not reading or ignoring this warning can lead to heavy injuries or in extreme cases even to death. Check your poles are working correctly before every use and get any damaged or defective parts replaced immediately by a specialist. You must not continue using faulty poles. |
